i get to start running on friday/saturday!! yesss. the last time i ran was two weeks ago, and i know that doesn't seem like a long time, but the last time i ran for more than two or three days in a row was five weeks ago. i've been taking time off and rehab-ing my knee and doing strengthening drills, which is NOT the equivalent of running or even consistent exercise.
i'm getting pudgy. my thighs are getting thick, even though i've been doing like 30 minutes of rehab a day (jumping, squarts, lunges, lots of weighted stuff) plus 15 minutes of running drills a day to strengthen my knee. nothing compares to the sheer number of calories burned running though. maybe i'm just getting more muscular from weighted lunges and squats and all those god damn jumps. but i'm probably just getting chunky.
i think i'm gonna come home this weekend to spend mother's day with the fam-a-roo. i really miss my dogs.
tonight, i think i will go to the library and do homework/finish my story, which will officially be the first time i've gone to the library in the evening to do homework all year. i go there like everyday in between classes but i've never really made a commitment to do that shit in the evening, when i feel that i have the right to relax and have fun. god, i get tired just thinking about it.
i'm clearly only procrastinating. i had no actual reason to update, at all. mmmmk byeeee love you lol.
